Big changes, new retail shop & website revamp!

Well, to say 2018 was a weird year for Grubwear and myself, is an understatement. I was getting ‘nugded’ into change and I had to answer the call. Change is not always easy or cheap, but I feel the new direction will benefit our brand, myself and family and of course you out loyal customers. 

After almost 9 years in the Kingsway-Fraserhood (a place I wholeheartedly supported and developed) we’ve made the decision to close Studiotique and take the retail shop up a notch...enter Billie Jean & Son General Store! 

We’re moving about 12 blocks east (next to white spot) to 1490 kingsway as of April 1. 

And while the City has created some roadblocks to our anticipated opening we will strive to be open as soon as possible and bring you a curated collection of amazing goods from near & far. Our focus is local, independent and awesome. Follow our progress on Instagram @billiejeanageneralstore. 

Here’s what else you can expect for spring/summer 2019 from our camp! 

• Revamped www.grubwear.com with killer new products, sleek navigation and user experience.
• Billie Jean will open before July 1. (And website to match) You can still reach us by email mike@thrillershop.com or phone 604-736-5651.
• Grubwear back end custom clothing division will be firing hot as we secure a new location for production and secure contracts for printing and outside support. 
• Community support and giving back to the sports and groups we love. (Skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing)

That’s a lot to swallow but we’re confident with your support and patience, we’ll be better than ever.  Thanks to the ol’ Neighbourhood for the good times but we’re trail blazing new pastures.
